General Meeting - Spotlight on Local Conservation!

About this event

Local Conservation Groups to Present to Peninsula Fly Fishers
The Conservation Committee is coordinating a “Conservation Event” at the November 20th General Meeting. We will be bringing together a group of speakers to cover a number of local conservation initiatives and ways for PFF members to get involved.

Speakers and conservation groups attending:
-Sean Cochran (California Department of Fish & Wildlife) to give a Pescadero Creek update, plus updates on San Mateo Creek & San Francisquito Creek
-Peter Drekmeier (Tuolumne River Trust) to cover upcoming TRT work & initiatives
-Alex Von Feldt (Grassroots Ecology) to speak about what they do and ways for PFF members to get involved in local projects
-Steve Holmes (South Bay Clean Creeks Coalition) to talk about the important work they do on the Los Gatos Creek, the Guadalupe River, and the Coyote Creek.

Come meet our Conservation Partners - We will set up a table for each Conservation Partner so that you can intermingle with them and learn more about their involvement in managing and saving the fisheries we love.

Let's get involved!
