PFF supports and helps grow the fly fishing community with our membership to the global organization Fly Fishers International. We encourage all our members to join and support FFI's mission. Closer to home, PFF is one of 24 clubs belonging to the Northern California Council of FFI (NCCFFI), which works closely with the clubs on education, conservation advocacy and outreach to further grow our clubs and the community.
PFF typically works very closely with NCCFFI on these annual events for the fly fishing industry, and PFF members who wish to volunteer are encouraged to do so:
- The Fly Fishing Show, Pleasanton, CA -- late February
- Jimmy Green Spey-o-Rama, Golden Gate Angling and Casting Ponds, San Francisco, CA -- mid-April
- Yuba Fest, Browns Valley, CA -- late September
