Open Fly Tying Focus: Yuba River Stonefly Flies

This Thursday at Highlands Community Center 730pm PFF will be hosting an open fly tying session for all members focused on stonefly patterns for high water flows this Spring and the Yuba fishouts.

The Beach Body Stonefly is a fast sinking pattern that is very effective high sticking or under an indicator on the Yuba, and can be tied in various color schemes. See the fly pattern steps here: Beach Body Stonefly - Josh Miller 

All members welcome. Bring your own fly tying vice and tools if you have them. The club will provide extra vices and tools and some material. Experienced fly tyers to bring extra materials for all. see below. 

ATTN Experienced fly tyers: please bring extra black or brown scud back material (or chenille), rubber legs, extra dubbing (purple, red, browns), beads and hooks for the newer fly tyers. It takes a village. Thank you.
