The 20th annual Fly Fishing Film Tour 2026 (F3T) is back in the Bay Area on March 26th in San Carlos, CA
Once again Peninsula Fly Fishers (PFF) is proud to host this showing of a dozen fly fishing film shorts created by the world's best filmmakers. The event will be held at Blue Oak Brewing Company (see details below) and will open with an hour of food, beverages, fly fishing camaraderie, and local club & sponsor interaction, followed by F3T 2026 screening and fly fishing gear door prizes raffle at intermission!

F3T 2026 is a huge year for us as we celebrate their 20 Year Anniversary. Over those years, the tour has been very fortunate to work with and honour the creative efforts of so many talented fishing filmmakers. A small number of creatives have consistently delivered outstanding productions that have be the mainstay of the tour.

This year's films together create an adventurous, reflective journey through the culture and wild places of fly fishing. The stories range from a multigenerational family rebuilding a historic fishing lodge after tragedy in the remote Yukon, to a return to the legendary trout waters of Jurassic Lake in Patagonia, to an expedition deep into the Bolivian jungle in pursuit of the elusive pacu, and to intimate portraits of fishing guides and anglers whose lives are intertwined with rivers and wilderness. Across locations that include northern Canada, South America, and iconic Western rivers, the films blend rugged exploration with personal storytelling, conveying feelings of perseverance, curiosity, humor, and reverence for wild landscapes and the communities that depend on them.

Watch the F3T 2026 Official Trailer.

Share fish stories as you enjoy Blue Oak's craft brews ranging from pilsners, hazy, West Coast and double IPAs, stouts, to its popular sours, munch on goodies from an onsite food truck, and check in with our co-sponsors (to be named later). Minors are welcome!
